Dr. Soheila Aminimoghaddam

Dr. Soheila Aminimoghaddam is a distinguished Gynecologic Oncologist and Professor at Iran University of Medical Sciences. She graduated top of her class of 300 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 1989, then completed her specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same university, followed by a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Her clinical and research expertise covers a wide range of gynecological cancers—including ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal cancers, and gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN)—as well as pre-invasive diseases, HPV, and gynecologic endocrinology. Dr. Aminimoghaddam has authored and translated over ten influential medical books in Farsi, including Colposcopic Examination: A Step-by-Step Guide and the Persian editions of Williams Obstetrics and Te Linde's Operative Gynecology. She has also published numerous peer-reviewed articles.

Currently, she leads the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship program at Iran University of Medical Sciences. She has served as a board member of the Iranian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (IRSGO) and was formerly Vice-President of the Iranian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ISCCP). A sought-after expert, Dr. Aminimoghaddam regularly appears on TV and radio to share her insights and is widely recognized for her dedication to medical education and advancing women’s health.
